FURUKAWA 競馬のオッズ., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") believes that appropriately handling the personal information of customers and other stakeholders is a corporate social responsibility, and the Company will handle the personal information provided by customers or obtained through services in accordance with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as this "Policy"). "Personal Information" as used in this Policy refers to the information stipulated in Article 2, paragraph (1) of the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act").

1. Compliance

  8. 8For other purposes considered reasonably necessary for the provision of services.

3. Security control measures

The 競馬のオッズ will take the necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage in respect of "Personal Data" (meaning data stipulated in Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Personal Information Protection Act) and to otherwise control Personal Data securely.

4. Disclosure to third parties

If an inquiry to the 競馬のオッズ is deemed appropriate to be answered by an affiliated 競馬のオッズ belonging to the 競馬のオッズ's Group, the affiliated 競馬のオッズ may contact you.

  2. 2Outsourcing
    The 競馬のオッズ may outsource the handling of Personal Data to a third party to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In this case, the 競馬のオッズ will supervise the outsourcing contractor as necessary and appropriate.

5. Provision to third parties located in foreign countries

If the 競馬のオッズ provides Personal Data to any third party located in a foreign country (including overseas subsidiaries of the 競馬のオッズ's Group), the 競馬のオッズ will take the necessary measures in accordance with laws and regulations after ascertaining the system relating to the protection of personal information in the country or region in which the Personal Data is handled.

6. Requests for disclosure, etc. of "Retained Personal Data" (meaning Personal Data stipulated in Article 16, paragraph (4) of the Personal Information Protection Act)

  2. 2As to the request in (1) above, please make a request for an application form to the following e-mail address. The 競馬のオッズ or the "Contact for inquiries" described in 7. below will send you a prescribed guidance document on the request procedure and an application form. Please fill in the necessary matters and send it by mail together with the necessary documents.

    (Fees)
    Requests for disclosure of Retained Personal Data and notification of the purposes of use are subject to a fee equivalent to the actual cost of postage by certified mail. For more information on the fees, please refer to the guidance document on the request procedure that will be sent to you.
    No fees will be charged for requests for correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to a third party of Retained Personal Data.

8. Changes to this Policy

The 競馬のオッズ may change this Policy as necessary. Any change to this Policy will become effective when the revised version is posted on the 競馬のオッズ's website.
